Why Level 10 Rarely Works With
Companies Under $5M in Sales

Sometimes smaller companies ($1M to $4M) get bummed out when we disqualify them from website and SEO services with Level 10.

Don’t get me wrong. We love small businesses–and we do have a way we can *possibly* work with them (see below).

But for websites and SEO Services, we almost ONLY work with companies with $3M in annual revenue or more.

It’s just economics: Smaller companies simply don’t have the budget.

Think about it: If a $2M company budgets 10% of sales toward marketing, that’s about $16,500 a month.

At that level of spend, every single dollar has to go to IMMEDIATE lead generation tactics–things like lead aggregators (Angie’s, Modernize, etc.), paid ads (Google, Facebook), canvassing, shared mailers, etc.

In other words, small businesses with small marketing budgets have to focus on HUNTING. Find food right now that they can eat today.

So when it comes to websites, they usually optimize for COST, not ROI: They want something fast and inexpensive: websites that look professional, but are not optimized for generating traffic and leads. And SEO is not something they can afford to even think about.

Larger companies, on the other hand, have sufficient budgets to focus on FARMING. Plant the seeds, nurture them, and grow fields full of crops. It takes patience and investment–but the reward is much bigger. They are optimizing for ROI.

I’m not saying small companies are wrong/stupid–I’m saying they have different budgets, and different priorities.

Then factor in that Level 10’s services are more expensive than our “competitors” like Socius, Spectrum, and Scorpion. Our engineering and quality is better, which costs more money to deliver. There is a reason a Mercedes costs more than a Honda–it’s better by every metric that matters. Same with Level 10 websites and SEO.

If you’re above $3M in sales, there’s a good chance Level 10 will be your best website and SEO option.

If you’re under $3M in sales, then we should explore Level 10’s Hyper-Local Pay-Per-Click services. It’s an affordable way to start generating quotable leads NOW, and you can work your way up to SEO later.

Either way, we look forward to speaking with you soon!
